About Ryan E. Yagoda

Ryan E. Yagoda is a Chicago-based attorney who has practiced law for over twenty-five years throughout Illinois. After hearing a story from a friend whose toddler called a camel that he saw at the Lincoln Park Zoo a “Bumpy Horsey,” Ryan painted a rainbow-colored camel for his friend’s son.

During the 2020 Covid pandemic, Ryan wrote a story based on the watercolor painting of a beautiful, but different, rainbow-colored Baby Camel trying to find his place in the World. After years of searching for an artist to capture Ryan’s vision for the book, he met Dan McGeehan whose magnificent talent and illustrations brought Bumpy Horsey to life to help show that being different and unique makes us special.
